WebI downloaded Ghostscript source-code from here and was successfully able to compile the code in Visual Studio. The libraries that are generated are dynamic libraries. Right now struck with my work, as I wanted to statically link Ghostscript library to my application so that I don't have to deliver any other binary along-with my C++ application. WebGhostscript can be used as a raster image processor (RIP) for raster computer printers —for instance, as an input filter of line printer daemon —or as the RIP engine behind PostScript and PDF viewers. It can also be used as a file format converter, such as PostScript to PDF converter.
