Without it, we had to go back to TinkerCad, delete 3 of the wheels, export single wheel & load to Cura, Lay Flat, load another & lay flat, and so on. So I can see that this would definitely be rather useful for some people.

Rotating works poorly, and the "lay flat" often leaves the part with support under all but a single point, clearly not "flat". Putting a face on the bed would fix most of my troubles in this area. WebMar 8, 2024 · A project file ("File / Save Project") would be better. From here it looks like only that one corner is actually touching the build plate. You can try to use the Rotate Tool "Lay Flat" command or move the model down into the build plate by .1mm (or something). You may have to turn off "Automatically drop models to build plate" in order to do that. WebYou can try the Orient commands. I think there's a 3 point orient command (command line is: orient3pt) which will let you place them flat on the axis with more control than a normal orient. You should be able to situate it how you want with that and then apply supports in your printers slicer.
