Cannot see files on network computer

Here is what I have checked so far: Permissions-all permissions for all folders are the same-they inherit them from the parent. Hidden files/folders box is not checked WebCant see ALL movie files though network. so, PC running win10 with shared folders on the network. VLC player installed on my TV can access these folders and see most of the files. The issue is I cant see the new files I added. I can see them and play them on my PC with no problems through VLC player but they do not show up on my tv or phone.
